John Britt wrote literally hundreds of articles on carnival glass.  Living his life in the small college town of Manhattan, Kansas, Britt and his wife Lucile were able to gather together several large carnival glass collections, which they would sell and start over again.  John died in January 1998, and yet his influence on carnival still lives today.  A controversial figure in carnival glass, opinions are still divided to this day on his place in carnival glass history.  Read this biography on John and his wife Lucile, which was written during a visit to his home less than two months before his death.         >> Read More
