| I am in the process of moving from my home to a senior apartment and I have to do a lot of downsizing. I have the first two WWW.CGA commemoratives for sale - from 1999 and 2000. They have been enclosed in a glass cabinet since they were new and are both in excellent condition with the little Fenton tags still on them. I would be willing to sell them together or individually. Please email if you'd like to see pictures or make an offer. I sold on Ebay from 1996 to 2010 and you are welcome to check my feedback. My Ebay ID is "justforyou", one word, no quotes. Thanks very much for reading my ad. Bev |

I am reluctantly parting with an ice green Northwood Fruits & Flowers Double handled bon bon dish. The piece is in perfect condition and very beautiful to view. There are no chips or cracks. Greystone lists the price as $540, but I will consider all reasonable offers given our economy. I also have an Ice Green Northwood Acorn & Burrs Punch Bowl set that unfortunately has a chip on one of the flutes although it is not a very obvious flaw. The Punch Bowl consists of two pieces, and there are five ice green cups that go with the set, that do not have chips or cracks. Please email me for pictures if interested. Thanks, |

This vintage marigold (close to pumpkin) satin iridescent 9.5" bowl boasts a wavy ruffle edge that is fluid and graceful. The rim of this shallow "bowl" is two inches from the base; some may call it a plate. The entire exterior surface of the bowl is graced with the pattern of leaves and what looks like sprays of wheat in low relief. It does not appear to have iridescence to the underside. There is no interior pattern but the inside color is strong and has great iridescence. There are a few small scratches to the finish on the inside of the bowl which doesn't affect its beauty when displayed; maker is unknown. There is a production or tool mark on the inside. It appears to be hand-pressed. Since its initial creation, carnival glass has been very popular with glassware enthusiasts. Carnival Glass is pressed glass that has had an iridescent coating applied. What is iridization? The metallic spray gave the glass a multi-color look with a finish that resembles oil on water. It is this characteristic that distinguishes it from other glass. There are other types of glass, however, that are iridized, primarily art glass. Remember though, that if it isn't iridized, it isn't Carnival! |
